Star Wars & Beyond: A Space Spectacular

Due to very popular demand the sell-out show Star Wars & Beyond will return for an extra date in July! If you are an avid Star Wars fan or love all things space, it would be a mistake to miss out on this amazing show. Buckle up tight and prepare yourself for an unforgettable ride as you travel through a galaxy of favourite music from deep space and beyond!

CBD Food Festival

The annual CBD Food Festival is back each July showcasing the superb food and drink offering in Birmingham’s business quarter, Colmore Business District (CBD). 24 venues, many of whom are independent businesses serve taster options priced from as little as £3 to £5 in Birmingham’s Victoria Square. Visitors can sample an array of mouth-watering internationally inspired cuisines as well as traditional British options. Alongside the varied food offering will be artisan coffees, real ales, fine wines, champagne and delicious cocktails. There is a programme of live cookery demonstrations from top chefs in the District and the festival will also features live music, outdoor theatre and other entertainment during its run.

Brindleyplace Outdoor Film Festival

The Brindleyplace Film Festival is back each July.Open to everyone, the Outdoor Film Festival showcases films suitable for family viewing, with the evening films screened at 6pm and two films shown on both Saturday and Sunday, the first at 11am and the second at 2pm.

Tuesday 14th – Thursday 23rd of July 2016. 

Times vary between 1.00PM and 6.00PM.

CBSO Summer Classics

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy – from the lush, heady sounds of Gershwin to Debussy’s enchanting, well-loved Clair de Lune, this July the CBSO and guest soloists present the musical equivalent of a warm summer’s eve. The versatile and charismatic Robert Ziegler is our conductor and host for a concert of dazzling musical sunshine that also includes classics by Berlioz, Grieg, Elgar and more – the perfect height-of-summer soundtrack.
